These Brie Puff Pastry Bites with fig jam are not only GORGEOUS but they are as delicious as they look! They are truly perfect for hosting season 🎄
Roll out the puff pastry sheet until fairly thin, cut it into 12 squares. Pierce each square with a fork so they don’t puff up while baking.
Place each square inside of a muffin/cupcake tin. Bake at 400℉ for 13-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
Add the juniper berries and pink peppercorns to a mortar and pestle and grind them. If you don't have a mortar and pestle, you can use a rolling pin and a cutting board.
Add the fig preserves to a pan with the honey, orange zest, cinnamon juniper berries & pink peppercorns to a pan. Cook for 2 minutes so it thickens a bit.
Slice the brie into 12 small squares.
Add some fig preserves to each of the puff pastry cups followed a slice of brie. Bake another 3-5 minutes.
Top with prosciutto and chives.
