Amaretto Peaches

Warm peaches with their sweetness heightened by the caramelization process. Creamy cold ice cream that melts in your mouth with each bite. Toasted crunchy almonds that put the finishing touches on this amazing dessert. This is a dessert that you will not soon forget!

What you need

cup brown sugar

oz amaretto

oz dark rum

pinch salt
orange zest

cup slivered almonds

tbsp unsalted butter

vanilla ice cream
Instructions
0 Remove the pit from the peaches and slice. 1 Toast you almonds until golden. Wipe out your pan. 2 Preheat your stainless steel pan for 2 minutes. Add the butter. Once melted, add the peaches, salt and sugar. 3 Let them caramelize on medium high for 3-4 minutes. Add in orange zest and juice. Let them cook for another 4-5 minutes. 4 Add rum and amaretto. Let it reduce and gets sirupy, about 3-4 minutes. 5 Add your peach mixture to a bowl and top with a scoop of ice cream, toasted almonds and a mint leaf.View original recipe
