Apple Croissant

0 First, slice apples really thin and place in a bowl with 3 tbsp cane sugar and 3 tbsp brown sugar, the pinch of salt and cinnamon.
1 Secondly, preheat pan for 2 minutes on high. Then, add in 1.5 tbsp butter and the apples. Fry until slightly caramelized, about 7 minutes.
2 Thirdly, using a rolling pin flatten out the croissant(s).
3 Then, top the apples with the croissant and bake at 350F for about 20-25 minutes, check that croissant is getting golden brown and not burning. Let it cool about 10 minutes flipping but not too much or they will stick.
4 To a sauce pan add the remaining sugar and heavy cream. Bring to a boil and simmer for 4-5 minutes on medium until it thickens stirring often. Then, turn off heat and add a pinch of salt and remaining butter. Mix well.
5 Lastly, using the plate you’ll serve the dessert in, flip it, add ice cream, Gruyère and enjoy!
