Grapefruit Elderflower Sour
Serves 215 mins prep25 mins cook
You do have to prep a little bit for this cocktail beforehand but it only takes 5 minutes to throw together when you're ready to serve it! I served these during Bryan's birthday dinner and they were so easy and such a hit! It's super easy to batch and make ahead for a party.

tbsp liquid egg whites

cup cane sugar
oz st germain liqueur

oz simple syrup

fl oz grapefruit juice

oz grapefruit

cup water
Instructions
Grapefruit Elderflower Syrup 0 Peel your grapefruit and roughly chop up the peels. Add to a saucepan with sugar and elderflower. Massage this all together to release the oils until it looks like wet sand. Add in water and grapefruit juice. Simmer on the stove till reduced by ⅓, stirring frequently. Turn the heat off and let steep in the saucepan for about 1 hour. Strain, pressing out as much of the liquid as you can. This should be enough for 8-10 cocktails. Grapefruit Elderflower Sour: 1 Dry Shake First (no ice): Add grapefruit juice, lemon juice, elderflower simple syrup, saint germain, gin and egg whites to a shaker with NO ice. Shake for 15 seconds. 2 Regular Shake: Add in the ice, and shake for another 60-90 seconds. 3 Serve with a dehydrated grapefruit as garnish and that is it!View original recipe
