Lavender Biscuits 💜 These are so good and cozy! You kept asking for these... and here I am delivering 😉

What you need

tbsp baking powder

cup buttermilk

tbsp lavender

tbsp butter

tsp salt

tsp sugar
Instructions
0 First, process together the flour, lavender, salt, baking powder and sugar. 1 Secondly, add in the cubed cold butter and process until it is crumbly. 2 Slowly add in the buttermilk and process until incorporated. 3 Then, add dough to a floured surface, knead the dough lightly. If it’s too wet/sticky, add in a bit of flour (1 tbsp at a time). 4 Flatten the dough with your hands and form a rectangle, fold it in half a couple times. I find it gets more even. You want it to be 1-1 1/4 inch thick. 5 Cut the biscuits using a cookie cutter. Then, keep forming the dough and cutting it until it is all gone. Mine yielded 9 biscuits. 6 Place in a cookie sheet and brush the tops with buttermilk. 7 Then, bake at 425F for 11-13 minutes or until the tops are golden and they’ve risen. 8 Lastly, add butter, honey and lavender to top (that's completely optional though).View original recipe
